Connecting with emotion of customers online - Patrick Dixon
Why emotions are so important and why market research sometimes fails to predict how people will feel in future
Hi Patrick, that video on the blog cuts in and cuts out rather abruptly; can you improve the start and end?
Also, I haven't heard back from you since my emails sent on 11 May. RSVP so that I can upload a photo to Wikipedia with your permission, otherwise it will likely be deleted again.
good to see you blogging again Patrick. Ads have to be authentic - we mustn't build a picture of our company that is out of touch with people's experience when they meet us. This is why corporate blogging is such an important line of defence for a brand. Traditional PR is increasingly seen as spin, people want dialogue and an authentic voice. Bloggers help to do that. It's no good trying to start blogging when trouble strikes either. Companies need to think harder about building those authentic relationships ahead of any problem that arises.
